Elorm Darkey provides analytic support in the production of databases and research activities. He first joined the IWR team as an intern in September 2011 under the guidance of Dr. Pablo Munoz and Prof. Anantha Duraiappah. Inspired by the works of Nobel laureates Kenneth Arrow, Amatyr Sen as well as Sir Partha Dasgupta, Elorm Darkey's primary interests lie in welfare and development economics. Economic measurement, debt and sustainability are key subject areas of of his research. His secondary research interests center around contract theory and industrial organization, and particularly on using economic theory to analyze the operation of cartels.
